Have you dreamed of a vacation with adventure and discovery, with fun people to share, and a great gourmet chef to guide you into the art of healthy cooking?

This retreat is for you!

Join Susan Faerber, director of the Healing Kitchen at the Moors Cancer Institute in San Diego, for a trip to the Southern Baja California Penisula. We will visit World Heritage Island Espiritu Santo and snorkel with the sea lions. We will also explore the quaint city of La Paz, its galleries and museums, and its beautiful sea promenade.

At night as the sunset colors illuminate the sky, we will gather for a cooking hands on demonstration to learn exotic and delicious recipes using local fresh and organic ingredients.

Our accommodations and classes will be in comfortable rooms at the eco-center of La Duna. You can fly directly from Tijuana to La Paz with the airline www.volaris.com.mx, or from Los Angeles to La Paz with www.alaskaair.com

The cost of the trip includes all land and sea transportation, all meals except lunch on your own in La Paz visit, three cooking lessons with Susan Faerber, all excursions.

It does not include gratuities or tips, airline tickets, nor travel insurance.

Join us sharing a two person room for $550 usd, or enjoy your own for $650 usd.

A $200 deposit secures your space for a group limited to 8 people. You can also pay with a credit card via paypal with an additional 4% charge.

Optional activities for an additional fee are horsebackriding, kayaking, and spa services like massage, reflexology or facial treatments.

The airline to fly with from Tijuana Mexico is www.volaris.com.mx the flight number  #580 Tijuana-La Paz, and return flight number #581 La Paz-Tijuana

The cost of the flight is as of August 16 around $265 dollars round trip.

You may also choose to fly http://www.alaskaair.com/ from Los Angeles to La Paz, but you may need to stay extra days in La Paz as they do not fly everyday.

You will need to obtain a Mexican Tourist Visa for about  $20 at the airport, so allow at least 3 hrs ahead of your flight.
