Inner-Connection: Journey Into The Soul Of Nature Scholarship Award Winner We are pleased to announce our scholarship award winner for the upcoming November retreat Inner-Connection: Journey into the Soul of Nature, held at La Duna Centro Ecológico November 2-6, 2016.  Luis Tentindo is an interdisciplinary artist and arts educator focusing on the crossovers between movement, puppetry and visual art. From 1994 to 2008 he danced in several renowned NYC-based contemporary dance companies. Luis has participated in residencies at Bogliasco, The MacDowell Colony, and Djerassi. His original puppet-theater work was presented at St. Ann’s Warehouse, The Theater for the New City and Dixon Place in NYC, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara. He also presented performances at Skirball Cultural Center, Fowler Ethnographic Museum, and at XFest! (SIUE).  The beauty of the desert and the sea is outstanding in the Winter time. Cold winds blow and reveal treasures on the dunes, as the restless waves carve the beach, A constant sculpting and shifting, yet the desert remains. Such a lesson in life!   As the solstice approached and came with a new sun and light, we all look forward into a year of manifestation and collaboration. One productive and creative time to share with others in joy! At Rancho la Duna we will continue to host our famous Stargazing night s , as well as serve as hosts for other groups and families looking for an intimate and undisturbed time together, in a home away from home. May 2015 be a year of more peace and more understanding among humans and all living creatures!
