For all of us who give of ourselves for others, and take care of community. 
This is a time to rekindle the spark in you or someone you know in need to:
Regenerate, create and share, eat well, rest. 
 
A healing for the healers!

 



Each day we will weave Qigong practice with fun and deep engaging art making experiences, and sensory awareness exercises. A peaceful and safe playground to experience oneness, remembering our inter & intra connections.  

 Participants will take away knowledge and easy practices to deepen their connection to place,  self, and one another. No previous experience or talent required.

 ~ 2hr 15 mins Qigong per day
~ 6 hours  Expressive Arts & Sensory Awareness
~ all meals (from dinner day 1 to breakfast day 5)

How to get there: Our closest airport is La Paz, Baja, Mexico



Pick up and drop off at Los Cabos (SJD) or La Paz(LAP) airports can be arranged, and shared ride may be possible for retreat participants. Let us know if you are interested and we will be glad to help.

It was a beautiful gathering of individuals both teachers and students, coming together to embrace the earth, renew their souls, and express themselves through art, sensory awareness, Qigong, and nature. This event inspired me to come up with this simple list of 5 ways one can deepen their connection to nature. 1. Wake up early to watch the sunrise. La Duna is a perfect setting for this wonderful experience. Each day wake up before dawn and walk over the magnificent dunes to watch the glorious sunrise over the mountains and water. Sit there in silence and with gratitude for a rich experience. Thank the sun for giving us a new day and for shining so brightly upon us. Listen to the waves lap against the shore and watch the frigatebirds soar high above like dancers in the sky.

Inner-Connection: Journey Into The Soul Of Nature Scholarship Award Winner We are pleased to announce our scholarship award winner for the upcoming November retreat Inner-Connection: Journey into the Soul of Nature, held at La Duna Centro Ecológico November 2-6, 2016.  Luis Tentindo is an interdisciplinary artist and arts educator focusing on the crossovers between movement, puppetry and visual art. From 1994 to 2008 he danced in several renowned NYC-based contemporary dance companies. Luis has participated in residencies at Bogliasco, The MacDowell Colony, and Djerassi. His original puppet-theater work was presented at St. Ann’s Warehouse, The Theater for the New City and Dixon Place in NYC, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara. He also presented performances at Skirball Cultural Center, Fowler Ethnographic Museum, and at XFest! (SIUE). His work has received support from the Jim Henson Foundation and he recently presented a workshop at the National Puppetr
